Insurance
Avalon offers Health, Dental, Vision, and supplemental insurance coverage for full time employees.
Leave
Full time hourly employees are eligible for paid vacation leave after completing the first year of service.
Full time salaried employees (managers) are eligible for paid vacation leave after completing the first year of service as well as 40 hours of sick leave after completing the first 90 days of service.
Avalon also provides one paid day of Bereavement Leave to full time employees on the death of an immediate family member.

Discounted Hospitality Rooms
Avalon may allow employees a discounted room rate on any rooms that are available through their Hotel’s franchise plan (Marriott or IHG) based on availability and outside of a 25 mile radius from Employee’s home property.
Employees may also be eligible to receive discounted room rates (up to 50% of the rack rate) at any Avalon owned/managed hotel except Employee’s home property based on availability.
Training
Have no hospitality experience? Avalon provides paid on the job training for most line level as well as managerial positions. There is always opportunity to grow! Learn about interconnected roles each person plays in running a successful hotel operation and gain access to a large online Marriott and IHG library.

Bonus & Incentive Plans
At Avalon Hotel Group, we believe everyone has a shared responsibility towards their hotel’s success; therefore, when our hotels do well, our staff should also be rewarded well accordingly. All line-level staff participate in monthly incentive and quarterly bonus plans. In addition to their salaries, General Managers also have the opportunity to earn more with aggressive quarterly and annual bonus plans.
